You're not behind. You're normal.

Most people know they should have a plan in place. They just haven’t gotten around to it. Life is busy, the topic feels heavy, and it’s easy to think “I’ll do it later.”

But here’s the good news: it’s far easier than most people think. There’s no big stack of paperwork to figure out on your own, and no uncomfortable sales pitch. You sit down with me, we talk, and I handle the hard part.

The reward is a real one — knowing your family is protected, and finally crossing this off your list for good.

Three easy steps to peace of mind

Step 1 — We meet (it’s free)
You sit down with me for a free, relaxed conversation. We talk about your family, your home, and what matters most to you. No cost, and no pressure to hire me.

Step 2 — I build your plan
Based on what we talk about, I put together a simple plan that fits your life — a will, a trust, or whatever’s right for you. I explain everything in plain English, so you always know what you’re signing and why.

Step 3 — Your family is protected
Your wishes are in writing. Your loved ones are cared for. And you’ve kept your family out of the long, expensive court process called probate. One less worry, for good.

What to expect at your free meeting

Not sure what a meeting like this is even like? Here’s exactly what we’ll cover:

  • We’ll talk about your family and what you want to happen to your home and savings.
  • I’ll explain the difference between a will and a trust — in plain words, no jargon.
  • I’ll show you how to keep your family out of probate.
  • You’ll get honest answers to your questions, with no pressure to decide anything on the spot.
  • You’ll leave knowing your options and your next step — even if that step is just thinking it over.

It usually takes less than an hour, and you’ll walk away with a clear head instead of a headache.

Gary DeWitt, Lawyer. Estate planner, probate.

Why I do this

When my dad passed away in 2010, my family learned firsthand how hard probate can be — the waiting, the cost, and the stress, all while we were grieving.

I became an estate planning attorney so other families here in Northwest Arkansas don’t have to go through the same thing. I’ve sat where you’re sitting. I know the questions running through your mind, and I’ll treat your family the way I’d want mine treated.

— Gary DeWitt, DeWitt & Daniels Law Firm

Trusted by Northwest Arkansas families

Had some problems that were resolved. I’d recommend DeWitt Law Firm to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy firm for Estate Planning, Trusts, Wills, etc. Very friendly and explained every detail to my understanding. - Trudy

I'm so relieved to have finally got my trust updated and finished. I sent away for a book from DeWitt law firm months ago and figured I'd try them. Had good reviews and I would agree with those reviews. After my initial get together with Gary and his wife Winney, I only actually dealt with Winney. She would collect information, answer questions and relay those to Gary and he would take care of it. Very pleasant, helpful and PATIENT with me and all my questions. I would highly recommend using this Law firm when needing a trust written up. - Lisa

Questions people usually ask

Is the meeting really free?
Yes. The first meeting is completely free, with no obligation to hire me. It’s just a chance to get your questions answered and see if I’m the right fit.

Do I need to be wealthy to need a plan?
No. If you own a home, have savings, or have people you love, you have a reason to plan. Estate planning is for regular families, not just the rich.

How long does it take?
The free meeting usually takes under an hour. From there, most simple plans come together quickly — I handle the heavy lifting.

What if my kids live out of state?
That’s exactly when a plan matters most. A good plan keeps your family out of probate, so your kids aren’t stuck flying back and forth to handle court paperwork from far away.

What should I bring?
Just yourself and your questions. If you have any existing documents, bring them — but don’t worry if you don’t. We’ll start wherever you are.

Ready when you are.

There’s no rush and no pressure. But when you’re ready to take this off your plate for good, I’d be glad to help.

Book a free, no-pressure meeting, and let’s build a simple plan that protects the people you love.
